1994 Chevrolet S10 Question: how much fuel pressure should there be, and where is it measured ?
Answer #1pushrod January 14, 2014, 04:48Master
CPI 55-60 psi @ schrader valve rear of engine. AND IT SHOULD HOLD PRESSURE WHEN KEY IS TURNED OFF!!! If it does not then the fuel spider is the likely suspect! Need a tow in that case. Black smoke from T-pipe?? Light on?
What is the 8th digit of the VIN. If it is W fuel pressure should be 55 to 60 psi. If it is a Z fuel pressure should be 6 to 9 psi.
