The lower ball joint busted on the drivers side front tire. I had it towed to a mechanic who is quoting me 430$ to replace the upper and lower ball joint. It seems a little high to me?

MasterMy book shows the labor for 2WD at 2.7 hours and 4WD at 3.3 hours times the labor rate in Long Beach plus parts which run about $100 to $135 So $430 is about right as its a big job
