My Avalon has 310,000 miles and it is time for a timing belt replacement. I understand the water pump should be replaced at the same time. What is a reasonable price for the replacement of timing belt and water pump?

Unless you had these items replaced, you need to have the timming belt, timing belt tensioner, timing belt tensioner pulley, idler/s pulley/s, water pump, crank & cams seals. Just guessing $600 to $900. That is the way to do it properly. If you have any questions contact me at autoknowhow@gmail.com.
