Question: how much does it cost for a throttle cable adjustment?

my car sometimes will not start until i go under the hood and move the throttle cable by hand

    It is best to have the throttle cable, cruise control actuator and kick down cable inspected in case something is "hanging up". It may be best if possible for you to leave your car at the repair shop the night before and arrive to them the following morning when the car is "cold" so you can duplicate the problem to them.If someone incorrectly adjust the idle stop screw it could cause the throttle butterfly to stick in the throttle housing when the throttle housing is cold.
