The electric fuel pump is inside the gas tank. Required removing the fuel tank. It is pretty difficult to get out. I suggest do not use an inexpensive part, but the factory original part. If not you could be doing it again in little while when the cheapest part breaks again. A factory GM fuel pump installed will probably run about $600 - $700 installed.
