Question: How many points of securment are there on the exhaust system

 Rookie

I had my exhaust system replaced about three months ago. It has really started to rattle bad. I made sure the heat sheild was secured. The exhaust system was only secured at two points. The muffler and one bend. The exhaust pipes shake pretty easy and engough to hit the heat sheild. It only rattles on bumps

    Sounds like your missing the exhaust hangers or insulators, they're available a any good auto parts store. The insulators are made of a heavy duty rubber compound and are made to fit your make and model Maxima.
