2000 Volvo S40 Question: how many labor hours for longblock remove and replace?

engine worn, needs replacement, i need to know how many labor hours can be charged for removing, transferring of parts onto new longblock, and reinstalling the engine back into vehicle

    Labor will run around 15 hours to remove and install a new engine. So about $1500 - $2000 in labor. These types of jobs will often require replacement of other items that may need replacement or are worn (e.g. belts, hoses, water pump, motor mounts etc.) These will all add parts and some labor to the overall cost.
