Labor will run around 15 hours to remove and install a new engine. So about $1500 - $2000 in labor. These types of jobs will often require replacement of other items that may need replacement or are worn (e.g. belts, hoses, water pump, motor mounts etc.) These will all add parts and some labor to the overall cost.
