Question: How long does it take to replace the maniford? And is it costly?

 Rookie

I've had my car 2weeks and the maniford just blow off as if it was an explosive. is that rare?

    Do you mean intake or exhaust manifold. Complete intake manifold replacement is just under 5 hours labor, plenum replacement is about 3 hours. Complete manifold and gaskets is about $360 from Chevy I think Dormin make it aftermarket.
