2002 Buick Century Question: How hard is it to clean injectors?

Question

Wondering if it is possible to clean the injectors and how hard it is to clean them? Car was running rough under acceleration and above a certain rpm. Had to ease up on accelerator to upshift. Replaced gas filter twice about a day apart and added injector cleaners to gas tank. Helped, but still runs uneven.

It might not be a fuel injector problem. Many thing could cause this symptom. I'd take it to a shop and ask them to diagnose it.

Gas filter was very dirty. Good chance filter was compromised and things downstream, ie. injectors. Fuel additives to clean injectors improved performance from barley being able to drive around town to being able to cruise on interstate.

Based on what you said it could be a bad fuel pump also. Did you got the pressure and volume checked?
You can keep adding EFI cleaner to the fuel tank, but if there is a thick deposit and dirty fuel in the tank it will take many more filters - if the pump still able to maintain pressure.
There is a direct fuel system cleaner, which hooks to the fuel rail and feeds a very efficient cleaner directly to the injectors, but it's only effective if the rest of the fuel system is clean.
