Question: how does heater works

Rookie
initially the heater gives warm air,but after few seconds it starts giving normal air.
i got it checked , the pipe coming from radiator is hot but the other pipe is normal.
i guess the hot coolant is not circulating, may be the heater is choked .
what shud i do?

MasterIf the engine temperature is low, then replace the coolant thermostat. If the coolant is not circulating through the engine, you may have a bad water pump, if it's not circulating through the heater core, then get the heater core flushed or replaced.
