Question: How does a transmission mount cost? And is it worth it in the long run?

My Dad gave me his car and it has been used and abused over the years. He mentioned it has a loose transmission mount and a needs a tuneup. I just got the whole radiator part replaced, thermometer added, battery changed, and now this. It's at 166,000 miles and I don't know if a transmission mount if it is even worth it. What do you think?

    I strongly suggest replacing it! it could possibly cause the motor mounts to go bad. as for cost i had go bad some 15 years ago and it was on a 90 grand prix i think it cost 20. bucks but here is you a link...

    Should I get all 4 replaced or just 2? If just 2, where specifically? Anyways I really appreciate your advice so far!

    I'm not sure your vehical having 4 mounts for the tranny but i can see 4 for engine and tranny. that is your call on replacing all 4. how long do you plan on keeping the car goes into play. and also think preventive measurements verses just upkeep?

    I think of keeping it until August and then sell it. And what do you mean preventative measures for this car? Hope to hear from you.
