Because they were not torqued properly!!! Has that shaft been out of the truck for any reason? Any front end work done on it?

No, but after finally finding proper grade & size bolts realized that whom ever had truck before my owning it for past 3 yrs, def replaced that carrier flange as it has "paint" like the Bone yards mark on parts. Got her back together last night. Torqued, all greased up an ready to plow! Not bad for a 48 yr old chick, eeh?

Not bad indeed!!!! Not bad for anyone that doesn't do it for a living and a shop full of tools and equipment! That is a bit above the avg. diy fix!
