water pump licking, the car is over heating

    There are two possible engines - a single overhead cam 1.8L or a dual overhead cam 1.8L.

    Either way, though, it's all a matter of timing cover removal, timing belt removal, water bypass pipe removal, and water pump replacement.

    Beware of additional engine concerns, however; these engines can't take much overheating without causing additional issues.

    Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info. There is also a company that independent auto repair shops buy their information from that the same information inexpensively to do it yourselfers. The information is year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
