Question: How do you replace the front flex exhaust pipe on an 2003 Audi TT

Does it have to be welded or do I have to replace that whole first section? It appears that it connects the manifold to the rest of the exhaust and just that one small section is the problem the rest of the exhaust system seems to be in good condition.

    Its sold as an assembly in most cases. Aftermarket manufactures may have it also but sill kinda pricey. Check with the muffler shops or exhaust specilist in your area. Some can get a universal replacement flex section and do a cut and weld. That optiobn will be less cost.
