Question: how do you replace a tps correctly on this 3.8L eng

my code came out as the throttle position sensor I would like to know how to replace it, is there a certain way to replace it.

    code numbers from a free code pull never identifies a bad part, just a failed system.

    there are 2 bolts attaching to the throttle body and a wire connector.

    i would have it checked first to confirm before spending the money to replace it.

    Just locate the TPS and replace it. It should not need reprogramming.
