1996 Acura RL Question: How do you know when the transmission is going out?

That generation of transmission gave some trouble, If the transmission oil is discolored or smells burned it could be an early sign of trouble. A check Engine Light will come on for some a lot of transmission codes. Have it checked out by a transmission or Acura specialist.
