Question: How do you get into the area of the fan.

the cover is taken off but now there is a black case surrounding the blower. There are some screws that were removed but still unable to get to the blower.

    What's in the way? if it's sound deadening material, remove it. I don't know how it's held on.
    When the blower motor mounting screws are out and the electrical connector is disconnected, the blower should come out freely.

    The electrical connector is out but that casing is blocking the motor. The blower is in cased and can't seem to find anywhere to get into the blower area.
