Mazda Q&AAsk Your Question
2004 Mazda MPV Question: how do you change the spark plugs, boots, and coil packs o a 2004 mazda mpv?
Answer #1pushrod February 06, 2013, 18:08Master
The intake plenum has to be removed to change these coils 1-3-5-!! Suggest replacing all 3 at this time. 2-4-6 can be changed at any time!
Replace all plugs of corse, use top shelf or OEM parts then you wont have to do it again in a couple of months!
Not a job for a novice!! But if you are handy with a wrench, it aint that bad either. The plug boots should come with the coils.

Brtter let a mechanic do this one, high skill level required even with instructions!! Next time you have a question always include engine size.
The only reason i answered this is i know you have the 3.0 V6!!
