How do you access the fuel pump in the C240 2005 Mercedes Benz on 2005 Mercedes-Benz C240

There is a gasoline smell in the car and it is making me sick.

you probably DO NOT have a fuel pump problem. let a good Mercedes shop check this out before wasting your money on a guess.

These were my toughs also, but whenever I give an answer like this, I keep getting a thumbs down. Now I just try to answer directly to the question - no matter how un-logical and against basic trouble shooting steps or common sense and how much extra money it will cost them. ; ) Zee

Thank you very much, you were spot on with the location. Turns out when I removed the seat my fuel line was leaking gasoline right under where my child sits! very helpful.

You need to remove the rear seat and there is an access panel which also has to be removed to get to the pump. Zee
