will the sarcthes on the fuel cause vacum leak

Plastic or metal portion , and what caused the scratches? Fuel rail is liquid (gas) under pressure , so , no it won't cause a vacuum leak.

Sounds like you might want a shop to take a look at it.If it is in fact a pressurized fuel rail that is damaged (other than cosmetic) then it should be replaced NOT repaired! It's GAS --------vapor+spark=FIRE. Guessing not worth your life-please!

HEY DUDE; DONT WORRY ABOUT MINOR SCRATCHES ON THE FUEL RAIL. WON'T HURT NUTEN!!! WHEN YOU GET THE ENGINE RUNNING CHECK FOR ANY LEAKS IF YOU HAVE ANY IT WONT TAKE LONG TO SEE THEM JUST DONT DRIVE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE OF NO FUEL LEAKS. PS, NO SMOKING!! DO THAT AFTER IT IS FIXED.
