how do i set the timing on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser

you must align the exhaust cam and intake cam timing marks the sprockets have arrows on them they need to face up . also align the crankshaft with the arrow but make sure piston #1 is up. timing marks must be aligned correctly or you will have to redo everything again. best thing to do is take it to a mechanic.

I replaced timing belt and all the components. Now it has a rough idle. I'm pretty sure the timing is off. How do I completely reset the timing?
