2000 Toyota Corolla Question: How do I replace the left front turn signal assembly housing?

I have the replacement light assembly for my 2000 toyota corolla and I'm ready to go. Just need some tips on how to change it without breaking it.

    Well.... no one bothered to answer my question, but I changed the light assembly with no problem.

    please do assist me. i am trying to take out a currently broken front right turn assembly. i loosened the screw and it just wont come out, something is holding it and like you, i dont want to break it. please help. thank you!

    loosen the bolts that hold the bumper cover and it makes it much easier.
