There's a crack in the heated side mirror. Purchased the replacement, wondering how to go about replacing it.

I believe it has plastic clips on the back that retain it to the mirror actuator. If you pt the mirror in the full down position you can acces most of the clips. Try and push them away from the actuator and once you get a few off it will come out without removing the rest of them. After removing mirror glass there is a connector that will need to be disconnected to fully remove mirror. Install new mirror connector then place mirror glass over actuator and press firmly untill the retainer clips are holding properly. You might want to shine a flashlight behind the mirror to visually see that all clips are on. Its kinda difficult to install because you worry about breaking the new glass. I usually only put force on the center of the glass where the clips are located. You can see what i am refering to as the clips by turning the new mirror over. Good luck
