Question: How do i repair my gas tank solenoid

my gas door wont unlock when i push the unlock button (whitch it should) the delership said it was a bad solenoid now i dont have enough gas to get there i feel like i am michanically inclined enough to fix it but dont know how to get to it please help!!!!

    There is a manual release of the door from the inside. You need to remove a trim panel i the trunk (same side as the filler) and it should be behind. Check your owners manual or download one for free from the MB website.
