    THIS IS AN 8 HR JOB PLUS PARTS PLUS RECHARGING A/C WHEN DONE. I DO BELIEVE MOST OF THE DASH NEEDS TO COME APART IN SOME WAY.

    Yes, the complete dash assy has to come out to replace the heater core.
