2003 BMW 330xi Question: How do I remove 36mm spindle nut on front rotor?. Is left or right hand thread?

Rotors are really worn, but I cannot remove spindle nut. Not even using impact.

    you do not need to take the spindle nut off; rotors are
    "hats" and should have a small screw just to hold it in place. most of the "holding" is done by the wheel and
    wheel nuts.
