Question: how do i manually lower my 1999 c70 convertable top? and the chiming noise

switch boken and i want to get it fixed, but i want to lower top manually to check it, and the warning chime is constantly on so how do i stop it? thanks

    Stephen,
    There is a tool in the trunk that allows you to manually raise and lower the top. You will have to look at the owners manual to figure it out since it requires a few steps. The chime is on probably because the roof is not operating properly. I would have someone look at this for you, it may be something simple that addresses both these issues.

    thanks for your reply i will try and lower it myswelf, i have no owners manual but i will try internet to see if i can find it, thanks again
