i had brakes done on my car in august it is now january and im being told the garage that did it first forced brakes that didn't fit which caused them to crack and wear down my rotar..another garage over the phone asked what kind of rear brakes i had and im not finding anything online telling me what a 2008 hyndai elantra would have
how do i know what kind of brakes i have on the back of my car..drum or disc on 2008 Hyundai Elantra

look behind the rear wheel and see if it looks like the front wheel. If it is disc brakes, you will be able to see a silver looking disc. If it is drum it will look like a metal bowl nothing silver showing. Hope this helps you I don't know any other way to tell you, if you haven't been around cars much.
