Replacing the passenger door mirror on most cars involves removing the interior door trim panel to gain access to the the hardware securing the mirror to the door and the electrical connection that operates the electric mirror. There is one screw that needs to be removed in the hollow part of the arm rest you use to close the door. I am looking at a poor illustration but it shows 10 to 12 push type clips retaining the door panel to the door itself. These clips are on the circumference of the trim panel and if not carefully removed the door panel can easily be damaged. This mirror replacement may be best done by a auto repair shop or auto body shop.
