Question: how do i get the rear light assembly off to change the stop light bulb? thanks

 Rookie

there are only two screws and no socket or other release that i can find

    Once you remove the two screws you will have to pull on the lamp assembly until it releases. There are two retainers on the oposite side of the lamp that you removed the screws from. It will take a little muscle.
