Question: how do i get the filter disconnected from the line on my car

i have the filter located and i can't get it to seperate from the line. it has a green clip that surrounds it and i have opened it but still can't get it to release.

    sometimes sand will get between the line and the clip . u will need to blow some air between it then push the filter and the line together then push the clip out the back side easly .sometimes they will break . if the clip breaks dealership sells them cheap maybe 5 to 8 bucks .
