Question: How do I get into this car when it is locked and there is a dead battery?

The key will not open the car and the battery is dead. What do I do???

    all BMW's have deadbolt door locks. if you break a window
    the door still will not open. the trunk should still unlock and open. applying 12v with a booster box either
    to the battery or electrical system should provide enough
    power to use the lock system.
