How do I get a repair estimate on Automatic transmission R&R ? on 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300D

My question is on using the service .

remove and replace is about 8-9-hours in labor. to remove and rebuild is about 22 hours in labor plus parts. you must break it down to determine the parts required before and estimate can be given. call around for bids and remember that that is only a starting point. the price can and will rise quickly as the parts add up. Thanks for info . I'm doing the rear seal on the engine. Do you happen to know the torque spec for the flywheel to crank (flexplate) ?

this is a "stretch" bolt and must be replaced with a new bolt. tighten to 45nm then an additional 1/4 turn (90 degrees)
