Question: How do i fix the white smoke from coming out the tail pipe?

My 1993 toyota camry sometimes has white smoke come from the tailpipe but the check engine light is not on what could this be?

    sounds like you are burning coolant from a head gasket. you need a shop to do a leak down test to confirm. it is an major job to repair if this is the issue.
