Question: how do i fix my license plate and tail lights?

my tail lights and license plate lights that are located on the trunk lid do not work. i have checked the fuses and the light bulbs. what can be the problem?

    Check that the wires at the hinge on the trunk are not damaged or broken (common enough problem). The wires in particular you are looking for are green or green/red.
