If it is coolant that is leaking onto the floor the heater core is damaged and will ha to be replaced, confirm it is actually coolant that is leaking not rainwater from a door seal or windscreen seal. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online
Read all the instructions and see if you feel confident to do the repairs and have the tools to carry out the repairs.
thanks Patrick this info was helpful. I already started removing the covers underneith the dash and I'll tell ya, its very frustrating . but I did get to peak at the core and I know now how easy it is to replace it .. its just a matter of unscruing the core and take it out , but again that all depends on if you can get the covers off and that is where all the trouble and frustration is.. thanks again for you input.. ...Dion Rhodes
