How do I fix a brake light problem with the multifuction switch? on 2003 Chrysler Sebring

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
When the Headlights are off the brake lights work, but when I turn the headlights on during the night time, the brake lights don't work. The running lights work but when you press the brakes they dont work.. I've been trying to figure out the problem, can anyone help me? What would cause that?

The electrical systems on these vehicle are quite complex. They are Multiplexed systelms which are voltage sensitive. The multifunction switch does just what the name implies. It has many functions, Turn signals, High beams, hazard flashers etc. I suggest you visit your local dealership for Inspection and diagnosis. http://repairpal.com/directory?address=71118&car_brand_names=Chrysler
