2003 Chrysler Sebring Question: How do I fix a brake light problem with the multifuction switch?

Rookie

When the Headlights are off the brake lights work, but when I turn the headlights on during the night time, the brake lights don't work. The running lights work but when you press the brakes they dont work.. I've been trying to figure out the problem, can anyone help me? What would cause that?

The electrical systems on these vehicle are quite complex. They are Multiplexed systelms which are voltage sensitive. The multifunction switch does just what the name implies.
