MasterThe accelerator cable on your 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass is routed from the accelerator pedal, through the firewall to the throttle body. If you decide to replace the cable yourself may sure you route the cable EXACTLY as it was and reinstall ALL retaining clips. Make sure the new cable operates freely before starting or driving your vehicle. If you are at all uncomfortable about replacing the cable DON'T DO IT.
