How can you read error codes manually on a 90 mits mtx check engine light probs. on 1990 Mitsubishi Mighty Max

When I turn the key to the on position to start the engine if the service engine light does not go out the engine will not fire. I have to let it sit with the ignition switch in the run position and eventually the service engine light will go out and then the engine will fire.

Follow this link http://www.troublecodes.net/mitsu/ For better information, there is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online

after thinking this thru and thru i have come up with the answer to my problem. low fuel pressure caused by bad fuel lines and gaskets, and fuel return lines/check vavle, etc. etc. Cause, corn gas......that is gasoline with ethanol. Ethanol eats up older rubber fuel hose and gaskets and vaccum hose.
