How can I tell if my MAF sensor is bad on my 1989 Buick Regal , 3.1 . Also how do I clean it?

     Master

    Start the engine and let it run, now tap on MAF sensor with a screwdriver handle, if the engine responds at all
    to the tapping, REPLACE the MAF sensor!!!
