I was almost home and then my AC began to blow hot air and then my engine began making a nasty clanking sound. Once I got home, there was a burnt smell in the air and I had my father take a look inside the hood. The radiator had no water inside and once we put some water in it, all the water began to leak out of a small hole in the radiator. It was not a tear or anything, the hole/nipple thing is supposed to be there. We tried using Bar's stop leak but it didn't help.

yobe, The radiator just needs replaced, no amount of stop leak will help you (stop leak is not a great idea in any case, actually, due to the kinds of collateral damage it causes by clogging up passages elsewhere...). However, i'm now quite concerned that your engine overheated so severely that damage may have occurred. The "nasty clanking sound" is not usually superficial - usually it's damage - in - progress. My suggestion: have the engine evaluated for damage first. Invest in the repairs and the radiator if you get a comfort level that the components are still going to be good and you can deal with the costs as estimated.

Well we found a piece broken in the little hole and I guess it is a plug for the drain. So I went to kia and they gave me a piece that you're supposed to screw in and it stopped the leak. We also put some antifreeze and everything was fine. The issue now is whenever I turn on the AC, a loud sound under the hood goes off and sounds like something is about to explode.

You may have a compressor issue. I would definitely have a look at this; if it should lock up, the belt may come off, and you may have more troubles.
