Question: How can I get better gas milage

Bambro, 4.0L V6, Saugerties, NY, February 06, 2013, 18:38
 Rookie

I get about 18 miles to the gallon. I'm a slow driver always within the speed limit. never going over 55mph. Most of the time I'm doing between 40-55 mph

    proper tune up sparkplug wires ,new spark plugs,,oil change proper tire inflation

    Try useing synthetic oil. You will save on oil changes and the oil dont brake down . It only gets dirty. You can change the oil evey 5000 miles as well. TRy useing a engine additive as well for the type of engine you have .BGs is a great one to get compression back .It has done me well on my 184000 milage Tacoma. Also synthetic oil can sometimes stop oil leaks...It dont break down and turn acitic.
