I recently crashed my Esteem and blew both the passenger and driver's airbags. I have replaced the airbag modules themselves, and am now left with the airbag sensor, or crash sensor. What type of sensor is this, is there a specific name for the part, and where does it go? I've got to remove the old sensor and replace it with a new one, and would love a little help in locating and exchanging the airbag/crash sensor. Thanks!!!!

I can't tell you whether there's a separate G-sensor or it's integrated in the control module. Most likely it's integrated. Why not phone the Suzuki dealer's parts dept and find out for sure? Or find a Suzuki expert and ask him. If you want to find a specialist, here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=04038&car_brand_names=Suzuki There are reference available to you: Here are two sources for you: For AllData: http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online Here's the one for Mitchell as well: http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online
