Hot air blowing out when A/C is turn on. on 2002 Cadillac Escalade

In my 2002 cadillac escalade, when I turn on the A/C hot air blows out. I get cold air in the back of the truck when I turn on the switch for the back. Is this a blend door actuator problem and how do I fix it?

The most likely cause is a blend door actuator. On most of the newer Chevy vehicles the entire dash must be removed to replace the actuator, which is a very large and complex task requiring special A/C service tools.

The A/C works and blows cold air, then switches to hot air. If I stop and turn the car off, then back on the A/C again blows cold air. Any suggestions?
