Two days ago while driving on the highway my a/v started blowing hot air for about a minute then switched back to cool. It happened again yesterday. Today I had the fan off and felt hot air blowing from the vents as the car moved about 35 mph and I watched the temp gauge gradually rise to midpoint but this was within 3 minutes of starting the car.I know the highlander could have an issue with the switch but my fan was off when I felt hot air coming in. I turned the a/c on in case it was a thermostat issues and it worked intermittently. Drove the car home and will look at switch tonight and/or take to dealer/mechanic.
