I have a 1985 corvette, and the battery is dead. When I pulled the hood release, it only "popped" on the drivers side. This hasn't happened before. It doesn't seem as tho the cable is bad. Any suggestions?

MasterI think these have a left and right hood latch/lock assembly #11 on this diagram http://www.parts.com/schematics/C/CF4050.gif and probably one of them is stuck So you might need someone to pull on the cable while you try and move the stuck side up and down until it releases. The parts are available at www.parts.com
