I don't have direct experience with your vehicle, but whenever i run across this problem, I look through the front grille, and look for the latch mechanism, and use a long screwdriver to manually open the hood. This is easier on some vehicles and impossible on others, and I'm not sure where your car lies. Hope That helps!

I have the same problem at this very moment. what i did was just cut the wire to get a grip of the cable then replaced it
