I was sorely disappointed with my experience at Honest One. While the work was done correctly, I felt very belittled at the shop and neglected as a customer. I met resistance with the tech when I asked to change the number in the system to my phone number, as he preferred to speak with my husband. When I got my car back, while the work was done correctly, my car was in disarray. The radio was left on, set very loud and to a station that I do not listen to. The headlights were turned off. The manual for my car was left open on the passenger's seat. The lug nut key for my tires was rolling around on the floor under the passenger's seat. Both of those items were in the glove box when I dropped my car off. I highly doubt I will be returning to Honest One after this experience.
Was told LR brake was stuck - needed new caliper and brake fluid replaced. Brake was not stuck- turns free by hand and no sign of being stuck or overheating & brake fluid 3 years old - how did they determine it should be replaced? Was told starter needed shimming - this is not possible on this style starter. Fluids were supposed to be topped off and chassis grease fittings and friction points lubed: washer fluid was topped off, brake and power steering low - ball joints and tie rod ends were not lubed. Unacceptable. Honest????? I know the rear end and the transmission both need serviced & fluids replaced - 150,000 miles - no mention. Disappointing.

The shop does good work for a fair price, but in my most recent experience, the work took much longer than expected. No reason was provided for why the delay occurred, and I was frustrated that they did not do more to communicate how long the job would take. This is the only reason I rated my experience low.

We choose what services we wish to have performed at which shops depending on criticality, convenience, and value. This shop offers great value and convenience for oil changes, alignments, and inspections, but charge way too much for other repair services. When they flag items that need service, they quote high prices. We appreciate the flag, but we then choose a different shop that we trust to perform the work, or, depending on the job, we do it ourselves. In these situations, this shop has some employees that apply high pressure tactics, and others that are understanding of that. This time we got one who applied high pressure, and it made an otherwise pleasant experience unpleasant.
They actually showed me the problem and what needed to be done right in the garage. So everything is working fine. Good job guys.
We got our car fixed only to have it break down 2 days later. Went back to honest one said they would charge another $587 to fix. Went to another mechanic for second opinion and they found that the parts installed by honest one were the incorrect parts and they fixed our car for $285. Honest one will never receive another penny from us. Horrible horrible place.
3 times I have been to this place, and every time the price invoiced at the end has been more than the price quoted when I left the vehicle.
They double charged me and have been very poor about resolving it. Haven't reached out to me, I have initiated all communication on the topic. Still haven't refunded me the money owed despite multiple conversations.
I came there and was diagnosed with needing a new starter. At first, he quoted me at $875. I then called the Hyundai dealer and was quoted $600. I also got a quote from another shop for much cheaper. I told the manager the 2 scenarios and then magically, the quote went down to $660. I also overheard the manager arguing with another customer on the phone and magically, that customer's estimate went down as well. I believe that this shop is trying to scam people. I will be reporting you to the BBB and writing all reviews on Yelp and whatever I can to warn people of your deceptive practices.

I used my visa debit/credit card which I use 50 times a day and your machine would not take it without a pin-- I said I don't have a pin and only use this card as a Credit Card! They were insistent that I was wrong and just treated me like I was crazy.
Better experience than other shops.
3rd time in which time needed to fixed was underestimated. I was told 11am and the car really wasn't even started to be worked on until at 11am. Left at around 1:15pm. Great staff and very friendly, just third time in which I waited significantly longer than told.
Rick was courteous and upfront with several work suggestions. No pressure to complete work at this time. Noted it was not a Safety Issue but rather something that needs to get done eventually.
This was not my first visit. I plan to return.

I have been taking my car here for the past 3 years for oil changes and have been happy. This last time I find that the technician who worked on my car had gone through my glove box...i know this because my box is always neat and orderly.
Charged twice for same service. No compromise on this from them. Will not return to them!

Brought my Honda Odessy in for an alignment. The tech put the vehicle on the alignment equipment to measure the current readings. They found that they were within the tolerances that are recommended and asked if I would like to continue. The alignment was $99 and the alignment check was less than half of that. It would have been easy for them to simply perform the alignment since I had already signed an authorization for that service. I appreciate their honesty and them saving me money.
My wife was sold a fuel injector cleaning which I don't believe we needed. Just brought it in to have the radiator flushed and had a 50% off coupon. Should have been about $50.00. Total bill? $270.00 Needless to say I think that is way too steep. I could have had my radiator flushed and the fuel injectors done without a coupon for less money than it cost me here.
They did what I asked in a timely manner and suggested some future needed repairs without being pushy.

We have used Honest Auto for my wife's car. We have always been satisfied with the service. However, We recently had it in for an oil change and tire rotation,etc. That evening Kim noticed that a tire was low on air. I ran the car over to Honest Auto and the person waiting on me didn't seem to have time to hear my complaint. I took it over to Holiday and filled on air. One tire had less than 10 pounds, two tires around 20 pounds and the fourth was at 33 pounds. It didn't cost me anything to take care of except a little bit of time. However, I would think that with the tire rotation the service man would make sure the tire is at the right pressure on all tires. On another question I mark that I was not treated with respect. I realize the many things come into consideration when this happens. End of day, still busy, etc. This will not make us change auto care but I do want to bring these things to your attention.

I came to the shop 15 minutes before closing. Shop made time to squeeze an inspection in. They found that emergency service had to be provided and gave me a rental car. Very happy with the continued service I get at this shop.

Service availability is generally good. Services performed have been well done. Fairly high-priced. More comparable to a dealer-type shop. Had a negative experience where I was told my car had an "oil leak" with no addt'l explanation - was told I needed to have a dye test done, which I did. The dye test could not locate any oil leak. I then took to another shop, which could not confirm this diagnosis. Felt it was a scam to get me to pay for a dye test I did not need.
The guys at the Maple Grove were helpful and very prompt. I was happy with the all around experience.

It took three visits for them to fix the suspension in the car that I had repaired by them. And each time I took it in they recommended another 1500$ plus in repairs to the car, instead of first fixing the real problem that they caused the first time it.
