Honda vibrates at 120km per hour on 1992 Honda Accord

I heard that this problem is common to Hondas? I have had the mechanics thrice look at the car: they've balanced the tires, air pressure if fine. When it first occured, it was in the winter and they thought it was ice. But it's the summer and the problem persists. I also heard that it might be a sign of a cracked steering column??? the steering wheel vibrates a little, but my car/wheels stay straight ahead when i take my hands off them. I'm perplexed (apparently, so are my mechanics).

Hi, I'm guessing you really don't live in SF! There's no ice here! Did the mechanics figure out what was causing the vibration? Thanks!
