2003 Honda Odyssey Problems
The front brake rotors can warp and cause a vibration when braking. The rotors will need to be machined or in cases where they are worn to thin, replaced to correct this issue.
A rough idle and harsh transmission shift can be caused by a broken front engine mount. Replacing the broken mount will address these issues.
Children feeding coins into the radio's CD slot can cause blown fuses, lights to stay on (both interior and exterior), and can ruin what was once a perfectly good radio.
The engine may develop and oil leak due to a porous engine block casting. The repair procedure is dependent on where the leak is located. Honda has released a service bulletin covering model years 1999-2003. Honda may offer assistance with repairs, determined on a case by case basis.
A knock or clunk type noise may be noted from the front suspension over bumps. This is can caused by worm stabilizer (sway) bar links. Replacing both stabilizer bar links will commonly repair this issue.

Manual sliding doors will stick or not open easily due to the door seal sealing too well. Sometimes this can cause the door handle to break when trying to open the door. Replacing the door seal with an updated seal from Honda will repair this issue.
A faulty Idle Air Control valve (IAC) can cause the engine to surge and the Check Engine light (MIL) to come on. Replacing the IAC valve will repair this issue.
On certain models the rear brake pads can cause a clunk when first braking due to the brake pad shims restricting pad slide. Replacing the read disc brake pad shims will repair this issue.
On certain models electrical noise from the cooling fan circuit can cause the brake light and indicator lights (dash lights) to come on momentarily. Replacing the alternator will fix this issue.
